Sephora watchers may have noticed a new skincare kid on the block.

The beauty super store recently launched GoClear, an acne treatment line for everyone who suffers from breakouts -- no matter your age, skin type, or skin tones.

Created by Dr. Alan R. Gottlieb and inspired by his five mixed-ethnicity children, who all have different skin tones, the GoClear 3-Step Acne and Blemish Regimen is designed to target and prevent the underlying causes of acne, with the flexibility to be used together as a system, or apart as individual products to supplement your current regimen where needed.

GoClear is an interesting new approach to acne prevention. The market is currently segmented with kits designed to be used together, or lines that target specific age groups, like teen and adult acne. In recent years we've also seen brands specific to the special needs of certain skin tones, like RX for Brown Skin.

With a targeted approach to acne being the norm, to think that one line could "do it all," goes against the standard line of thinking. But GoClear has results to back up their idea: In an independent clinical study of the GoClear Intensive Acne Treatment - Salicylic Acid 2%, conducted on people of all skin tones between the ages of 12 and 35, panelists saw a 66% improvement in acne severity after three weeks, and 97% experienced a decrease in overall blemishes by the end of the six-week study.

With its Clarifying Cleanser AM/PM, Intensive Acne Treatment - Salicylic Acid 2%, and Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 15, GoClear combines medicinal and high-grade active botanical ingredients and leaves out ingredients like alcohol, lanolin, artificial dye and fragrances, and benzoyl peroxide which often leave skin severely dry and irritated. Each product is designed for standalone use or to coincide with an existing skin care program, offering a "360-degree" solution to treating acne.

Packed with gentle and soothing components like shea butter, Acai berry, Evodia fruit and avocado extract, and green and white tea complexes, the oil-free, allergy-tested formula has a crisp, clean scent that leaves skin soft and smooth enough to apply your favorite foundation or powder on top.

GoClear Clarifying Cleanser AM/PM, Intensive Acne Treatment and Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 15 ($25-$70) is now available exclusively at Sephora stores and online at Sephora.com.
