Yesterday we got a special editors' preview of the new Stella McCartney for Gap collection that is currently available in New York City and will be accessible online and nationwide on March 30th. Fashion-loving moms and aunties will love the new spring offerings for their youngins!
The set up had boys clothes in the front and featured gray hipster jeans, striped sweaters and cotton tops, cropped gingham jackets in orange and blue, and a long bright green anoraks. There was also a cute cotton hoodie that was treated to look like denim and nautical-themed sweaters with anchors.
It was the girls stuff that really that really sang. We were a tizzy among the racks of aquarium-printed sundresses (above), lightweight sailor top blouses, ruffled tops, adorable poufy skirts in mauve, long striped cardigans, crochet knit topped one-pieces. Naturally every sassy toddler needs a pair of skinny jeans and those were available in cream and a lightwash denim with zips at the ankles. Paired with the racerback tank cheetah decal, and suddenly you had a look that was very reminiscent of Stella's earlier years at Chloé!
It was only a hour-long shopping event, and the teeny space was packed with editors - some of whom were snapping up pieces for themselves! If that's any indication, you may want to get to the stores (or your computer) as early as possible on March 30th to take advantage of the limited-edition duds.
