Hilary Duff's megawatt smile might dominate Lucky's latest cover, but it's not enough to distract us from the absence of her ginormous 14-carat engagement ring (said to be worth $500,000) on her left hand.

Inside the May issue, the cover girl -- wearing a yellow Wren tank, Gap jeans, and jewels by L Frank and Alexa Garner Sidaris -- remains mum on her much talked about sparkler (given to Duff by NHL star fiancé Mike Comrie in late February, probably after her cover shoot), she does dish about another dazzler that Comrie, 29, gifted her recently.

"My fiancé just bought me this ring with smoky pavé diamonds," she says of a $4,950 wing-shaped white gold and diamond piece by Julia Cohen. "It's so cool."

The ring fits her style bill, considering that 22-year-old Duff says she likes "accessories that are special and offer pops of color or shine to my outfit."

A self-proclaimed "jeans girl," Duff also discuses her must-haves for spring, including a pair of sequined shorts, strappy Cynthia Vincent wedges ("so comfortable and make me very tall -- two things I always want in my shoes"), the perfect black cardigan, paint-splattered jeans by Vince, and anything Givenchy.

"Almost everything by Givenchy has an edge to it that makes me feel put-together with very little effort," Duff says.

Just don't expect to see the starlet strolling through department stores buying these new looks, since she admits to being a devout online shopper.

"I'm so addicted, I almost don't leave my house anymore," she enthuses. "How great is it that you can order what you want and it shows up at your door the next day? My absolute favorite place to shop is Net-A-Porter. There are so many beautiful, irresistible things."
