Easter Sunday style is alive and well in New York City. To commemorate the holiday, we dispatched
photographer Mia Baxter to capture the snazzy ensembles favored by church-goers in Harlem on the warm and sunny April day.
Outside two of the neighborhood's historic churches --Mother AME Zion Church and
The Abyssinian Baptist Church -- and with gospel music wafting through the air, we encountered
spring fashion at its finest. Gorgeous hats,
pastel dresses and shoes,
patterned tights and
neon nails were among the fashionable highlights.
