The Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) group has announced its finalists for their 2010 Indie Beauty Award.

StyleList attended the CEW Product Demonstration last month, where we sniffed and smoothed on about 550 new beauty products from 300 brands that continue to push the boundaries of value and innovation. The demo is in lead up to the CEW Awards in May, which honors the years best beauty launches and is considered to be the "Oscars" of the beauty industry.

The organization has narrowed down the competitive "Indie" category to 5 finalists that include Cover FX, Living Proof, MoroccanOil, Oribe Hair Care, and Oscar Blandi Haircare. (See the rest of the nominees here)

The winner will be determined in a special vote by the CEW Board of Governors, with Linda Wells, editor-in-chief of Allure announcing this year's winner at the CEW Beauty Awards Luncheon on May 21 at the Waldorf-Astoria New York.

Speaking of winners, we are giving two lucky readers a chance to win a goodie bag overflowing with a selection of products from this year's CEW Beauty Award contenders. Packed with over 60 new products, it's the ultimate beauty junkie giveaway!

Here's how to enter:
  • To enter, leave a confirmed comment below telling us what's your favorite beauty product.
  • The comment must be left before 5 pm ET on April 19, 2010.
  • You may enter only once. Two winners will be selected in a random drawing.
  • Two winners will receive one Goodie bag (valued at $900 each).
  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 and older.
  • Click here for complete official rules.

I have a ton of favorite beauty products, but one of my all time favorites is Benefit Dandelion blush -- it's the perfect bit of pink to brighten up my face!

Clinique Dramiticly Different Moistrizing Lotion! I would cry if it would ever be discontinued. I am 30 years old and have been using it for years and no one thinks I am 30. Hope it has that same effect when i am 50.

It's a toss-up between chapstick and Diorshow mascara. I consider both to be essential.

I wash with glycerine soap and believe it or not I don't use beauty products or cosmetics. But I would like to start, but don't really know where to start. Wow, a bag of samples to die for sure sounds like fun.

My favorite product is definitely aveeno's skin calming lotion with spf 30. I'm currently using Retin-A for acne and this is the only lotion that makes my skin not burn and sting.

My favorite beauty product is my Clarisonic Mia brush. It does such a great job removing my makeup. I can't believe how much makeup used to be left on my face after cleansing without the brush. My skin looks much smoother and breaks out less.

I used to be a brand snob, but my new favorite product is off the drugstore shelves -- Maybellin Lash Stiletto Voluminous in Very Black. It is the ONLY mascara that I have ever used that doesn't smear, smudge, or flake and stays on until you take it off (with Maybelline Non-Oily Makeup Remover, also another one of my faves). Lash Stiletto goes on easily, the brush is easy to use and spreads product evenly on each lash and my lashes are thicker and out to there! Friends even asked if I had on false eyelashes, which I am admittedly a true klutz when it comes to putting them on. I love Lash Stiletto! Thanks Maybelline!

My favourite product is my Klorane dry shampoo! I've tried everything and cannot get rid of this greasy scalp so this dry shampoo is a lifesaver!
