Both Botox and competitor brand Dysport have launched great programs this month to interact with the public and win some new fans.
Head over to the Botox website and check out their "My Expressions of Kindness" campaign. Just for sharing something kind you've done, Botox will donate $25 on your behalf to one of three great charities. No catch. They'll keep donating until they reach $250,000. You don't have to have had Botox before or be planning to get it. Nada. Pretty cool!
Meanwhile, over at the Dysport website, they're offering $75 off a treatment for newbies now through April 30. If you like it, they'll give you $75 off your next treatment, too. And if you don't like it, they'll give you $75 back. Talk about a win-win situation, right?
If you're not familiar with the world of injectibles, Botox and Dysport are both cosmetic products containing botulinum toxin type A. They work by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles, limiting facial movement slightly in the areas treated. Botox is manufactured by Allergan, and Dysport is manufactured by Medicis. Medicis claims that Dysport features a newer delivery system of the ingredient so that the product lasts longer and spreads over a wider area, so fewer injections are needed.
Have you received Botox or Dysport? Are you thinking about it -- and would either of these campaigns be the deciding factor? Leave a comment and let us know!
