"I like this drink because it matches my outfit," joked Jenna Lyons of the pink lemonade concoction she was holding at last night's party in honor of her collaboration with Fenton-Fallon jewelry designer Dana Lorenz. "I didn't even plan that." Held at J.Crew's Soho store, the creative director's influence was widely felt in other arenas. (Nearly every fashionista in attendance was wearing an au courant army jacket - a nod to the boyish military trend that Lyons delivered for spring.)

Editors of every stripe came out to fete the duo and the impressive assemblage of mixed metal necklaces, bracelets, and earrings currently on sale. Born out of a one-of-a-kind piece originally created for Michelle Obama, (you may remember the impressive sparkler that the First Lady wore on the cover of Glamour's December issue), the resulting pieces are currently flying out of the stores. Organizers even had to pull from various retail locations to fill the display cases for the party.

It is an exciting time for Lorenz, who was also nominated for a CFDA Award earlier in the year. Was she going to celebrate with a decadent dinner, one wondered? "No, 'Lost' is on," she said with a wry smile. "If you haven't seen it, you have to get the whole thing on DVD. It's amazing."
