It looks like Fashion's Night Out -- the annual shopping event created by Anna Wintour and other fashion industry heavyweights in September 2009 to revitalize the economy -- is going to be even bigger this year.

Not only will the night, and the creation of the September 10th evening out, be profiled in a CBS special (more details on that here), just today it was announced that there will be a Fashion's Night Out clothing line to mark the occasion.

Going along with the whole democratic theme of the shopping event (if you recall, Wintour and Michael Kors showed up at a Macy's in the unfashionable Queens borough of New York last year to make a statement), the limited edition FNO collection will be on the casual side.

The line, which will be in stores in August and is an expansion on the FNO t-shirt available last year, will include long- and short-sleeved tees and tanks for the ladies and a unisex hoodie. All the items, which retail from $20 for a tank to $60 for a hoodie, feature the FNO logo ("Fashion's Night Out, Sept 10, 2010, NYC) alongside an abstract print inspired by a city skyline.

Forty percent of the proceeds from the clothing, which will no doubt be seen on countless models, celebrities and designers, will benefit the New York City AIDS Fund. And, retailers can contact fnocollection@fashionsnightout.com for information on carrying the collection!
