When beauty editors are buzzing about a scent -- among themselves, and not because they have to for their publication -- you know it's a keeper.

That's what happened at a recent event for Vera Wang Princess. After speaking with the fragrance's face, Zoe Kravitz, a handful of attending beauty editors were talking about another fragrance that a few were personally wearing, and others were coveting.

Not surprisingly, the fan-favorite fragrance is from Marc Jacobs. Surprisingly, it smells like biscotti.

That's right, the sweet cracker we dip in coffee. Now, the scent of Biscotti couldn't be further from those crusty, plastic-wrapped, chocolate dipped monstrosities at your local Starbucks.

Rather, this scent is inspired by the sweet settings of a Parisian patisserie. Marc Jacobs recently introduced three new limited-edition fragrances to his Splash Collection -- Marc Jacobs Apple, Marc Jacobs Pomegrante, and Marc Jacobs Biscotti -- but it was the savory aroma of Marc Jacobs Biscotti that appealed to the senses of those in the know.

Developed by perfumer Richard Herpin, this scent is a delightful concoction of freesia, bergamont, orange flower, pistachio blossom, and vanilla that is poured into a sleek glass bottle.

Trust us, you'd want to smell like crisp cookies. But in a good way.

Marc Jacobs Biscotti ($68) is available at fine department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, Sephora, and Nordstrom, and Marc Jacobs Boutiques.
