No one wants their look to be too matchy-matchy unless, of course, you're fixing to wear all one color. This season there are oh-so-many prints, but should you want to streamline your ensemble, dressing in monochrome shades is very of the moment.

For spring there was plenty color popping on the runways. Jason Wu and Phillip Lim presented two-pieces in hues of pink and red, respectively. Meanwhile Tory Burch went for a more safari-fied feel in khaki tones. And there were a rash of all-white ensembles at Bottega Veneta, Calvin Klein Collection, and Gucci.

Want to wear a solo shade? Make sure you choose a color that you're comfortable with head to toe. (Read: if you don't normally wear red, perhaps this isn't the best time to test out.) Some of the designers even included matching shoes, but that's taking the trend a bit too far for an everyday outing.

What do you think? Do you ever wear all one color? Would you consider it now? Let us know by leaving a comment and then check out other spring trends.
