These days, pretty much every A-lister in Hollywood is slipping her derriere into a pair of denim cut-offs.
Cameron Diaz kicked off the trend last month, flaunting her mile-long legs while filming a car-wash scene for her new film "Bad Teacher." Since then, the oh-so-hot pants have been sweeping the West Coast.
"High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens gave her bottoms a boho twist, pairing them with a floppy hat, peasant-style blouse, and funky boots while pumping gas with beau Zac Efron on April 16.
That same day, Beyoncé showed off her bootylicious side by wearing Daisy Dukes to duet with hubby Jay-Z at the Coachella Music Festival.
Volcanic ash kept Brits Sienna Miller and on-again love Jude Law stranded in the U.S., but Law didn't seem to mind: He was spotted admiring Miller's barely covered backside at a West Hollywood café on April 18.
Perhaps the trend's biggest fan is Kate Bosworth, who was seen around L.A. on April 19 wearing J Brand's 1043 shorts in Neptune -- apparently the very same pair she wore just one day earlier at the Coachella Music Festival.
One star who won't be sporting the trend anytime soon is Jessica Simpson, who brought the style back into the spotlight with her role as Daisy Duke in the 2005 movie "The Dukes of Hazzard."
"I wouldn't wear that outfit," she told the March 2010 issue of Allure magazine. "It's a character."
