Wearing jeans, an oversized sweatshirt and her hair in a low-slung ponytail, our team couldn't wait to take the L.A. transplant from small town girl to Hollywood glam.
Makeup artist and hair stylist Roberta Inez started the red carpet transformation by giving Kim a flawless complexion using medium-coverage foundation, followed by a translucent powder to remove shine.

Inez kept Kim's cheeks soft with a touch of bronzer. On the lips, she layered on a sultry, matte red lipstick -- the quintessential leading lady color.
To give Kim's hair a lift, Inez snipped in long layers. After blowdrying her strands straight with a large round brush for added volume, she used a large barrel curling iron to create sexy waves. Inez sprayed each section with hairspray prior to curling to support and set the curl.
Stylist Jordan Feldman wanted to accentuate Kim's tiny frame, which was hidden behind her huge hoodie. To play up her slim figure, he chose a classic black dress with a fitted, banded waist. A draping necklace with a pop of color and black pumps completed the look.
The final result: Oscar-worthy style.
