Amanda Seyfriend Says Legs 'Only' Thing She Likes About Herself
She nuzzled the neck of her real-life boyfriend and "Mama Mia" co-star, the dark-and-dangerous Dominic Cooper, before posing for photographers with her Juliet leading man, the blond-and-angelic actor Christopher Egan.
"My favorite season to dress for is spring," Seyfried told StyleList. "I like shorts, I like my legs, it's the only thing I like about myself."
Oh come on now!
"No, it's true! I like to wear shorts and boots and I'm looking forward to it being warm so I don't have to freeze my ass off and wear jeans all the time."
And her favorite boots? "My combat boots from Allsaints."
Seyfried said she was looking forward to taking some time off after promoting "Letters to Juliet,' to play with her dog, an Australian shepherd called Danny ("he's very handsome"). Then in July she begins shooting "The Girl With The Red Riding Hood," a horror adaptation of the children's story directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
Speaking of Aussie shepherds -- in real life her co-star Egan is a knockabout Australian former soap star, not the entitled Englishman he plays in the film. I asked him if he thought romance was back.
"It is, and hopefully our movie helped out with that," he said playfully.
And will men come to see this movie?
"[My character] Charlie is similar to a lot of guys, he's a nice character to throw into the mix because there are guys out there who don't believe in real love," he said, and then paused. "Or they're realists."
Ouch!

I don't think it's such a crazy thing to say, as it probably comes off a lot differently in print than when heard out loud and in context. It seems like most people have part of themselves with which they feel the most comfortable.
