It's not easy being green -- isn't that right, Christina Ricci?

On the one hand the actress should be commended for bringing a splash of color to last night's gala celebrating Chopard's 150 years in the business.

On the other hand... well... ribbit!

Yep -- that lily pad-green vintage Galanos gown is giving us the biggest Kermit the Frog flashback we've had since Lady Gaga put her Muppetwear back in the closet.

While the bold color is a nice contrast to her dark locks, the dress's floor-length cut overwhelms the pint-sized star's petite frame, making her look less "emerald goddess" and more "victim of a sliming."

But that's nothing that a pair of scissors can't fix!

Also on hand at the fashionable event were Gwyneth Paltrow, oozing glamour in a lace Antonio Berardi gown, a Lanvin-clad Kate Hudson and Claire Danes, plus Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman in a bump-hugging feather-trimmed frock of her own design.

So what's your take? Does Christina's dress make you want to croak, or are you green with envy? Leave a comment.
