There are two styles for this trend, the uber -skinny cropped jean like the ones shown at William Rast and the straight leg cropped rolled up jean shown at Ralph Lauren (left).

This style has now replaced last season's boyfriend slouchy jean. It is more flattering and has a cleaner shape than the sometimes ill-fitting boyfriend style. It is the perfect jean for spring to wear with flats, as no tailoring is needed, or you can also wear with a pair of sexy strappy sandals.
