Zoe Saldana, Kate Bosworth and Margherita Missoni and all sported elegant gowns, which revealed entirely exposed backs once the ladies did a little turn.
Saldana's arrival, in a sleek and sparkling one-sleeved navy dress by Calvin Klein, marked a continuation of the asymmetry trend that's been spotted on the red carpet and runway for the past year and has definitely marched on at this year's Met event.Bosworth, on the other hand, wore a loose nude gown with swirling embellishment that floated open in the back to reveal her sexy spine, while Italian fashion heiress Missoni wore an all-black dress with a heavily embroidered flap front that exposed not only her back, but her entire sides. Luckily, no wardrobe malfunctions have been reported just yet.
Tommy Hilfiger's wife Dee Ocleppo also donned the style, wearing her husband's creme silk design that appeared conservative from the front, but had a peek-a-boo back.
