At just the age of 20, Taylor Swift is the number one selling digital artist in music history, with over thirteen million albums sold and a Grammy award to boot.

But now the blonde beauty can add the role of cover girl to her lengthy accomplishment list.

just announced that Swift will front a new luxury line of products for the brand, in ads you'll start to see in January 2011 that coincide with the launch of the top-secret line.

"I am so excited to become the next CoverGirl. I have admired many of the CoverGirls since I was a little girl...great artists and actresses who are confident and still themselves. It's like a dream come true to be a part of the future of CoverGirl," says Swift.

Swift joins a glamorous cast of famous faces who have posed for the popular brand, including Christie Brinkley, Cheryl Tiegs, Rachel Hunter, Tyra Banks, Niki Taylor and Molly Sims. The current Cover Girls come from a diverse sampling of lifestyles and careers, from Queen Latifah to Ellen DeGeneres to Rihanna and Drew Barrymore.

"Through all her success, Taylor remains a grounded and sincere woman who connects with fans everywhere just by being true to who she is. She personifies the iconic image of the brand while representing the next generation of both inner and outer beauty," says Vince Hudson, general manager of CoverGirl Cosmetics.

A self-confessed "makeup junkie," we bet the perpetually lip-glossed Swift will enjoy all the free beauty loot sure to come her way.

And we're guessing the cash isn't too bad either.
