A smoldering, smoky eye is very popular during red carpet season. So, it was no surprised when we spotted some of our favorite stars at the Met Gala donning the look. "Avatar" star Zoe Saldana oozed sex appeal with slick, gray lids that were framed by perfectly arched brows. To achieve this, NARS Makeup Artist Vera Steimberg used PRO-PRIME Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base before blending on Turks & Caicos Multiple Tint & Cadacques Multiple Tint and D. Gorgeous Eyeshadow. Then she lined her eyelids with Aigle Noir Soft Touch Shadow Pencil. To finish the look, Steimberg smoothed Orgasm Illuminator on the actress's cheeks and Lara Pure Sheer SPF Lip Treatment on her pout. Nicole Richie and Tina Fey rocked similar looks with Richie opting for more shimmer on the eyes and Fey wisping out her eyeshadow for a sultry effect.
Naomi Watts, Taylor Swift, and Gwen Stefani know how to stand out in a crowd: red lipstick. And while these three blonde beauties kept the rest of their milky complexions natural (aside from heavily lined, top lids and lush lashes), they smoothed on the seductive lip color in three unique finishes -- creamy, matte and wet -- proving that every woman can looks great in the right red lipstick.
There's something about bronzed skin that gives you that "instant babe" factor. And actresses Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Szohr, and Kate Hudson sizzled on the 2010 Met Gala red carpet with their fresh from holiday glow. The "Sex and the City 2" star look radiant with sun-kissed cheeks that complemented her copper eyeshadow and golden, wavy tresses. "Gossip Girl" Szohr beamed like a goddess -- bringing out the golden flecks in her blue eyes. And Hudson was simply gorgeous with understated makeup that she kicked up a few notches by brushing on a highlighting bronzer.
