The celeb contingent -- Mischa Barton, Nicky and Paris Hilton, Slash and Shaun White (both with signature corkscrew curls), Rashida Jones, Nicole Richie (fresh from the Costume Institute Gala), Eli Roth and girlfriend Peaches Geldoff -- along with pretty bystanders cashed in tickets for the slouchy burnout tees. While noshing on In-N-Out Burgers and shakes, the beautiful people then turned their attention to Charlotte's brother/DJ/superstar producer Mark, who was on the decks in a white suit, sort of resembling Elvis. Sister Samantha also took the stage in all of her wonderfully skinny glory, not as a DJ, but a crooner (she later joined her stepdad's set).
The crowd, including fellow musician, Sheila E, was brimming with anticipation, "I am so excited. Been a long time fan. Wish I was playing!" (So did we!) But it was a full menu as is. Foreigner opened up with their classic hit "Double Vision" and heated up the party fast.

By the time they got to power ballad, "I Wanna Know What Love Is," the entire crowd was singing along with frontman Johnny Edwards, lighters and phones a'blazing. Model/actress Devon Aoki lead the charge by singing at the top of her lungs with the rest of the '80s-era spawn.
Eventually everyone moved over to the VIP room at Brent Bolthouse's Tuesday night party at Trousdale. There, Charlotte in her gorgeous fishtail braid (another '80s throwback, courtesy of celeb hairdresser, Andy Lecompte), cut the rug with her siblings, the Olympian snowboarder, and actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse (a.k.a. McLovin!).
Given the success of the evening, the family certainly does know what love is!
