Some call it football.

Some call it soccer.

We call it an opportunity to watch some of the world's hottest men (well, hello there, Cristiano!) run around in shorts.

But before the World Cup gets underway, Umbro is kicking things off with a new sports shirt campaign starring an international assortment of WAGs (that's wives and girlfriends, FYI).

Famed photographer Rankin shot the sexy campaign, which stars England's Abbey Clancy (partner of Peter Crouch), Italy's Alice Bregoli (Alberto Gilardino), Uruguay's Zaira Nara (Diego Forlan), France's Charlene Suric (Gael Clichy), Germany's Julia Godicke (Marcell Jansen), Brazil's Susana Werner (Julio Cesar) and Argentina's Luli Fernandez (Pablo Mouche).

Each gal is seen donning an Umbro World Champions sports polo representing her country -- plus a pair of knee-high socks and, um, no pants.

If only they could have recruited original WAG Victoria Beckham -- though we all know she's not exactly the "sporty spice" type.
