Heidi Klum Talks Her Mom's Advice and Motherhood in Special Mother's Day Video

A model mother -- in more ways than one -- 36-year-old Heidi Klum sat down with Modelinia to chat about her own mom as well as taking on the role herself.

In the video, which also includes pictures and footage of Klum as a baby, the supermodel-turned-mogul says that while fans often ask her for parenting tips, she doesn't have all the answers.

"It's always hard to give advice to new moms because every experience is different," says the mother of four. "For me, all of the pregnancies were easy. I never had too many cravings or weight issues. I think you should just have a great time with it. It's such an amazing experience."

And that's basically what her own mother, Erna, told her.

"My mom gave me a lot of advice," she says. "The biggest [thing] is to always have fun, treat people well, and to have respect for everybody [so that] you will be respected."

I think Heidi Klum is a very beautifull women and very, very funny, she has fun in all her interviews, she is not stiff like other modles, this is what make the women so beautifull, and special, and i'm sure she is teaching her kid's to be happy, funny, and to like eveyone, rich or poor, she seems to just that type of women, just love the lady,great up bring..

She is a plain Jane and that bowl haircut is childish. But she is a nice person. I just don't see all the fuss about her as she is no raven beauty. But most top models aren't, they are just skinny.

I have seen her in many interviews. She has a beautiful personality which makes her beautiful outside. Her genuine sincerity, friendliness, down to earth spunk, sense of humor, and love of life come out in her body language illustrated in how she works the runway, poses for photographs, and interacts with others. She is not a phony, but the real deal. I like her alot.

In a nut-shell, ALL evil haters & meanies are jealous. How anyone can say such awful (and 150% untrue) things about Heidi is just very-very stu-pid. Heidi has definitely paid her dues. Besides being gorgeous and yes, funny, sweet and kind, she's a hard worker. Any decent person with sensibility can/should realize. Mothering, and the caring 4 children is not an easy task. If you cannot say something nice .... say NOTHING. Neg comments NOT WELCOME.

Yes, Heidi Klum is a cutie pie with a personality to match. When she modeled for Newport News catalog she stood out from the other models. She's come a long way. News flash . . . models are tall and thin. Guess cute faces are less of a priority. We all know beauty comes from within. Maybe not so much Naomi Campbell. Heidi used to look like a model for Burger King, but she's a mom now so she's sporting a easy to care for hairdo. Dennis Wheeler you're just jealous, but I have to say I don't know what she sees in "what's-his-face".
