Living Proof No Frizz Restyling Spray - I Tried It!

I go days without washing my hair -- and it shows.
When I heard Living Proof -- the innovative hair brand fronted by scientists affiliated with top universities like M.I.T. -- was launching a restyling spray I jumped at the opportunity to try it.
Normally when I'm in a rush, I wet my bang area with water (it's the one spot that always seems to go awry while sleeping), zap it with the blow dryer and head for the door. The trouble is my hair feels sticky, looks stiff and is a static-y mess. And I just accept it.
Living Proof Restyling Spray is a lightweight, quick-drying spray that offers busy women the chance to reinvigorate and refresh their day(s)-old hair with ease. It contains humectants and moisturizing agents that condition and soften, as well as ingredients that detangle and provide static control. Just spray the hair until it's lightly damp, blow dry and style. Unlike water, it's supposed to work with your dirty hair, not against it.
So, did it get the job done?
I tried it the morning we were heading out the door for vacation. I was too busy to wash my hair the night before so I figured I would just do it in the morning. An alarm malfunction, two cranky kids and a luggage disaster later, there was no time.
Enter Living Proof. I sprayed the front and sides of my hair, and quickly blew them dry. The result: amazing. My hair was soft and manageable, and my color looked incredibly vibrant. My hair felt and looked clean. And there was no stiffness or static to be found. The only downfall, for me at least, was the smell. If you can get over that (the scent actually disappears once you restyle), it's an absolute must if you're in a rush.
When I arrived at our destination (we were visiting family down south), my sister said my hair looked great. Little did she know it had been four days since my last shampoo!
Speaking of not washing your hair, how long is too long to go without showering? The experts weight in.

i always find it sleazy and just weird to hear women complaining they dont have time to wash .i think not having time to clean yourself daily is just gross make the time even if its before bed nobody wants to catch your stinky breeze while walking past you.there is no product that can cover up the funky smell of an unwashed head !what the hell does your man think of the steamy funk coming from your panty area!! nasty women wash dont use products to cover the stench .
