So when StyleList was invited to take a peek and play with the new products that are set to launch this fall, we happily obliged.
The verdict? We're all toast.
The collection features wearable, flattering shades for eyes and lips, pops of pretty nail polish colors, and a bevy of sweet-smelling body lotions, shower gels, and fragrance mists -- all retailing between $2.99 and $19.99.
"Our new beauty line will feature the latest ideas, colors, shimmers, scents and formulas in the beauty and body care category and give our customers additional items to complete their personal sense of style, as well as offer great gifting options -- all a great price," says LuAnn Via, CEO of Payless.
The items will be sold under the Zoe & Zac and Unforgettable Moments labels, and launch in 1,500 stores across the country come September, with plans to expand to more stores in the future.
While Unforgettable Moments is known for dyeable wedding shoes, the Zoe & Zac line emphasizes eco-friendly picks that are made of sustainable materials. In keeping with this focus, cosmetic products will be free of parabens, the popular yet caustic foaming agent sodium lauryl sulfate and chemical phthalates. The packaging will also be 100% recyclable.
The first crop of Zoe & Zac spritzes lean towards the youthful, fruity side, with ingredients like blackberry, honey and bamboo. Meanwhile, the Unforgettable Moments scents have the gentle floral and feminine elegance one would expect from a line women turn to for special occasions.
Looks like Payless could soon be a one-stop shop.
