Chanel's resort presentation is always a highly anticipated event, and this year didn't disappoint in the least.

To showcase Karl Lagerfeld's latest warm-weather designs, Chanel swapped last season's Miami location for the much posher Saint-Tropez, where the company flew in celebrities including Vanessa Paradis -- the face of both Chanel Rouge Coco lipstick and the plush Coco Cocoon handbags -- and actress Diane Kruger, who wore a micro-minidress while snuggling up to her boyfriend, Joshua Jackson.

But it was on the runway where most of the action really happened. Lagerfeld, who famously said, "No one wants to see round women," showed that his feelings might be changing when he sent size 12 model Crystal Renn strutting down the catwalk/street not once, but twice, in his designs.

First the sexy, "plus-size" (ahem, "above a size 6") model walked the runway in over-the-knee black boots, a faded denim skirt and a classic three-quarter-sleeve pink Chanel jacket. Then she returned, striding in an asymmetrical black-and-nude dress and no shoes at all!

And Renn's appearance wasn't the only surprise of the show. The finale included teen model and 2009 British Model of the Year Georgia May Jagger speeding down the runway on the back of a motorcycle driven by a hunky male, before the Kaiser himself appeared wearing a shiny plum-colored jacket and violet shirt -- a definite departure from his usual black-and-white uniform.

We can't wait to see how they'll top this for Resort 2012.
