"We are thrilled to welcome Kate to the Almay family. She is smart, confident and vivacious. Her energy and youthful spirit are contagious," says Revlon CEO Alan T. Ennis.
"Almay is known for its fresh, effortless approach to beauty," said Kate Hudson. "I share that philosophy and I'm honored to be partnering with a brand that believes cosmetics should bring out the natural beauty inside every woman."
Hudson will make her debut for Almay tonight at the Rainforest Foundation benefit concert tonight at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The concert will feature StyleList's favorite pantless star Lady Gaga, in addition to longtime supporters Sting (whose glam wife Trudie Styler organizes the annual event) and Elton John.
Hudson will be featured in print and television ads as early as this summer and will also participate in Almay's philanthropic ventures.
Until now, Elaine Irwin Mellencamp has been the brand's only spokesperson since 2004. Hudson also collaborates with celebrity hairstylist David Babai on a line of charity natural hair care products, David Babai for Wildaid.
