His seventh scent for fragrance maker PUIG, the juice features masculine notes of leather, cinnamon and pepper and will be available in department stores and select chain retailers starting in August.
Could it be the secret behind Banderas' 15 year marriage to blonde beauty Melanie Griffith -- a true rarity in the over-before-it-began world of Hollywood romances? The actor is mum on the meaning behind the name, because it is, after all, a secret.
The event also featured Banderas' debut as a photographer, with his "Secrets on Black" photos displayed and auctioned to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
"It's so important to me at this point in my life to have a charity involved in my work," Banderas tells StyleList.
Featuring a sultry and skin-baring model, the exhibition was punctuated by Spanish influences of billowing flamenco red fabrics and jeweled gold balero jackets.
And in breaking news, the rumors that Banderas has been in talks to return to Broadway are true; the actor will take the lead role in a revival of Zorba starting in September 2011, which is based on the 1946 novel by Nikos Kazantzakis, Zorba the Greek.
With seven fragrances to choose from, we imagine Mr. Zorba will smell different each night of the week.
