Bar Refaeli in Trouble for Bringing iPad Into Israel

Any purchase valued at more than $200 and brought into Israel by its citizens is subject to some stiff duties. And since the Middle Eastern country just lifted a ban on once-verboten iPads two weeks ago, the toy was bound to grab some attention.
Refaeli told an Israeli television station that the whole incident was a misunderstanding and that the iPad had been tucked away in a suitcase that was lost in transit. She told the channel she didn't declare the iPad because she was home for a brief commercial appearance.
This isn't the first time the model has come under fire in her mother country: Refaeli has taken some very public heat for reportedly avoiding Israel's compulsory military service and not paying taxes on her modeling empire.
Whether or not Refaeli's packing was just a little bit suspicious, we're sure she's not losing any beauty sleep over the $170 fine she paid to get the device back. It's probably a fraction of what she earned for the ad campaign she just wrapped for French lingerie brand Passionata.
Besides, StyleList is sure boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio would have been quick to bail out his leading lady.
