A pink Matthew Williamson kaftan based a new flavor of Belvedere vodka -- modeled by downtown DJ Leigh Lezark -- these are a few of my favorite things!

The sound of music was very loud indeed last night at the Belvedere "pop-up space" to celebrate the $1,195 garment, a summery wrap inspired by the launch of a new pink grapefruit vodka.

"I think it's a great garment every season," Williamson told StyleList of his creation. Asked if women should be afraid of seeming shapeless in the famously roomy dress, he shrugged "they should just belt it, like I do."

Indeed, Miss Lezark did look stunning as she walked the red carpet in the company of celebs like Ashley Olsen, Kelly Osbourne, Estelle, Chelsea Handler, and Leonardo DiCaprio's on-again girlfriend, the Israeli model Bar Rafaeli. Even the non-famous guest had cheekbones scraping the ceiling, as the fashion-industry crowd was heavily weighted with models--some of them on roller skates!

At one point of the women employed to skate around the party in a pink-grapefruit-colored tank top grabbed my arm and asked the time. When I said 9:58, she responded "Thank god--we get to take the skates off at 10!"

Thursday's party was one of a several of events to be held in the space on consecutive nights. Asked if he could recall the most fun he had out drinking vodka, Williamson grinned: "Last night, it was fabulous. Right here!"
