Call it the beauty Oscars. Every year, Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) combs through thousands of product launches to reward the best new beauty products.

Now, we know what you're thinking -- wouldn't it be a dream to try out all the nominees yourself? Our thoughts exactly, so we asked our coworkers to sniff, spray, and smooth on the five different nominees in three award categories, and offer up their candid reviews. And we're are giving you the chance to win them!

We'll be serving up our reviews for the rest of the week, in a lead up to the CEW awards lunch on Friday (May 21), where we will be tweeting live. Today, we're testing out the Hair Styling Product Finalists in the Mass category.

Read on for our experiences, don't forget to enter to win them all by leaving a comment, below!

John Frieda Collection Frizz-Ease Heat Defeat Protective Styling Spray
"The product was super easy to use and it actually worked pretty well. My hair was shiny and mostly frizz-free for about 24 hours. I liked that it was a spray and I didn't need to get my hands all greasy. Plus, it made my hair look shiner than normal. I would definitely use this product again. I think it's a great buy for summer, especially for those of us who hang out near the beach and have to battle the humidity of the ocean air." - Margaret Bristol, Associate Editor, Holidash

Garnier Fructis Style Volumizing Anti-Humidity Hairspray
"I started using this product right after getting a much-needed haircut -- lopping off about 4 inches of fried locks. My hair is prone to frizz, and luckily there were a few humid days for me to test this product out. I found its smell delicious -- in fact, several people who smelled it asked me, 'What shampoo do you use? It smells great!' I also liked that it was a combination conditioning spray and hairspray, so it provided minimal hold and some body boost -- perfect for my new hairdo. The product contains bamboo extract, which apparently creates a barrier that's resilient enough to withstand moisture and breakage. Would I use this product again? Yes, but only on humid days. I found that on non-humid days, it made my hair a little dry and brittle." - Kristine Solomon, Editor, DIY Life

Dove Heat Defense Therapy Mist
"When sprayed on to wet/damp hair, Dove Heat Spray really detangled, and made brushing easier. My ends looked a bit healthier but the spray didn't give me that little extra shine that some others do. It wasn't sticky or overly syrupy like some sprays can be, and I don't feel like my hair was weighed down at all." - Sydney Levin, Editor, AOL Network

TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray
"I always worry that hairspray is going to leave a residue and make my hair look stiff. But it didn't do either. I could easily style my hair and didn't have to fight the hairspray. With the recent humid weather, it actually tamed the frizzy style I was wearing all week. [I would use this product] because it gave me a very natural look -- not sticky and kept my hair in place and had a very nice scent. I also like that it helped keep my hair from frizzing and getting random strays." - Anne Chertoff, Editor-in-Chief, AisleDash

Klorane No Rinse Care with Papyrus Milk
"Smelled fresh and clean, probably from the papyrus milk. Loved that it works on both damp and dry hair. Best part was that it didn't leave my hair crunchy or oily like some other products tend to do. I would definitely try it again when it's colder outside and I'm blow drying my hair, as I think it's good for heat styling protection. In the warmer weather, it doesn't provide my natural waves with enough definition since I let it air dry." - Susannah Cahn, Style News Editor, StyleList

Had to read the question twice since the article is about hair care ;). My favorite shade is plum since having that above my eyes seems to make the natural 'purple' under my eyes show less, and makes my eyes sparkle

L'Oreal HIP High Intensity in "Unashamed" is my all time favorite color. It does a glorious purple/copper shade with just a touch of glitter that makes it suitable for day time wear. I adore it!

My favorite hair styling product is Aussie Flexible Control Mega Hair Spray!

I use it every day on the roots of my fine, thin hair to give it some volume and life. It is "flexible" just as the product advertises; my hair doesn't get hard or crunchy, it stays soft, comb-able, and beautiful! It also has a nice scent that, according to my boyfriend, smells like Pez Candy or something like that. Awesome product!

I have greenish-blue eyes and a hint of baby pink on yje lower inner lid and silver on the bottom outer-lid looks soft. Then the middle-lid is covered with a golden bronzing brown from inner corner moving in an upper sweep to the outer-brow. The top-lid is then filled in with a hint of cream tone shadow. Finish lid off with a midnight blue liner and brownish-black mascara. This method make my eyes pop. I am always told how pretty my eyes are and I am 42 (smile).

My favorite shade of eyeshadow to wear is a neutral brown. I have blue eyes and neutral browns bring out their color without making my eyes look overly made-up. My favorite shade is Avon's "minx" from their Mark line. The color is a slightly greyish brown, with just enough pearl in it so that the finished look is natural but elegant. And the consistency of their Mark powder eyeshadows is almost creamy, making them easy to blend!

My favorite eyeshadow shade is coppery brown! I have blue eyes so the copper contrast really makes them POP. Plus the neutral shade is totally work appropriate.
