The Guerlain folks are looking to spruce up classic scent Shalimar's flacon and they've tapped jewelry designer Jade Jagger to do it.

Jagger is the daughter of icons Bianca and Mick Jagger, so perhaps it takes one to know one?

One might think that a fragrance that's still around after 85 years needs no improvement. With a name that literally means "temple of love" in Sanskrit, Shalimar itself is about as perfect as a scent comes, but we can see how old-fashioned bottle might benefit from a more modern look.

WWD reports, "The new bottle, out in September, features a pedestal base, a fan-shaped bottle with clean lines and a smoky gray-blue cap. Jagger chose to finish the bottle with a deep-navy leather tie on its neck."

We can picture the chicness already. Here's to another 85 years of Shalimar.
