It's a very severe look. She's a beautiful lady but this look does nothing for her. If it was short and processed it would look better. Most women need some fringe around their face no matter how attractive they are.

I cannot belive someone would actually try and convince us that she looks good like that. She looks like Dion Warwick. Her hair is way to thin to be worn like that. Someone needs to do an intervention.

another case of hair-straightening....another form of black self-hatred....it is really getting soooooo predictable.

I kinda think she's letting her real hair 'breathe' after cutting out weave. Weaves are heavy and can damage hair. She'll sport something new soon -- she's a beautiful girl, and even though she looks good no matter what style she wears, I really like her with the longer locks. She's so very pretty -- she will work it out, no matter what she chooses.

Janet is a beautiful woman, no matter how she wears her doo. They probably have been short all the time but with the application of "weave" and the glamor photos we most often see, it has always been the long luxurious locks that have caught our attention. Personally, I like it long, it seems to frame her face well and give her and her beautiful smile added appeal. It also gives character to her appeal if she has put on a few pounds, because the focus is directed to her hair. if she is going to sport it shorter, then she must watch her weight and this seems to have been a problem for Janet.
