Nars to Launch Lip Gloss Collection Based on Bestselling Blush Shades

If the beauty world has learned anything from Nars' wildly popular Orgasm blush, it's that peachy pink looks great on everyone, women love a tongue-in-cheek name, and one good shade has the ability to launch an entire franchise -- Nars has propelled the success of Orgasm into a similarly popular lip gloss, nail polish, highlighter and luster lotion.

Nars and Sephora are taking that last tenant to heart with their new summer collaboration - a limited edition lip gloss collection based on five of Nars' prettiest blushes: Albatross, a luminous shimmer, Angelika, a cotton candy pink, Oasis, a sparkling pink champagne, Super Orgasm, a peachy pink shimmer, and Luster, a sheer golden Apricot.

The formula, which is new for Nars, is a light and buttery slick of color that leaves a pretty shimmer and a hydrated feeling, without looking too wet or goopy. And if you're worried about looking too matchy-matchy with your blush, don't be. The formulas are sheer enough to give your lips a wash of subtle color, to enhance your features without overpowering.

If anything, they actually solve the problem of worrying that your lips will clash with your your cheeks. We just tried them, and used a light dusting of the blush on our eyelids for a pretty monochromatic look -- a look that's fresh and low-maintenance, i.e. perfect for summer!

The glosses will retail for $24, starting on July 29th exclusively at Sephora.

THIS is worth a news item???!!!! Give me a break! The news media trys to act all shocked and flustered when it hears a word like Orgasm and yet the other 90% of the time they write stories with as much sex and filth in it as a Penthouse magazine. I'm sick to death of paying money for good news coverage and this is the garbage they come out with. If this is what they're teaching kids in college constitutes good journalism writing, then we might as well just shut the doors now. Grow up people, it's been 30 years since the word orgasm has had any news value. Every other high school kid talks about it at breakfast these days. And if some dumb makeup company wants to try and sell products by sticking it on a label, who cares!
