To honor Crème de la Mer's fifth anniversary of their partnership with Oceana, the world's leading ocean advocacy organization, the brand's signature moisturizing cream jar will go from green to blue. The limited edition cream will also mark World Oceans Day 2010 on June 8.

This is the first time the logo and color of the jar has been altered. To show further support for the cause, the brand will donate $200,000 to Oceana in aid of their sea preservation and protection efforts.

As Crème de la Mer President Maureen Case explains, the brand wanted to show that "we are proud to [change] in celebration of this five-year partnership with Oceana as it harkens back to the core of what Crème de la Mer is all about - The Sea".

So if you're feeling guilty about an extravagant beauty splurge, remember you are supporting a worthy cause.

World Oceans Day "Blue" Crème de la Mer 3.4oz cream will be $310 and sold in stores nationwide throughout June.
