It would be shoe, accessory, handbag and gorgeous garments galore! Which is exactly the point that DecadesTwo's Christos Garkinos wanted to make. The illustrious Los Angeles-based consignment shop has set up a pop-up boutique in conjunction with HauteLook in a new four-bedroom apartment in New York's Chelsea and merchandised it with everyone's favorite foursome in mind.
"We're doing a guerrilla 'Sex and the City' promotion," Garkinos told StyleList at the pop-up's preview Thursday evening. "We had four bedrooms, so we thought why not?" However, after he realized one of the bedrooms would be needed as a fitting room, he revised his plans. "We took one bedroom and filled it with shoes."
"Carrie" is the only character to get her own fully merchandised room, complete with closets and a bathroom. A McQueen dress, a Chanel dress, YSL shoes and a very "Carrie" pink Dolce & Gabbana dress were perfectly merchandised, strewn on the bed.
