Seems cleavage-baring plus-size ladies lingerie shots are not the only undergarment advertisements deemed too risque for some advertisers to comfortably share with the masses.
At least one men's magazine has passed on the racy backside shots of chiseled Brazilian model Andre Ziehe wearing skimpy thong underwear, the New York Post reports.
Ziehe appears in ads for the 2(x)ist line featuring a rear view of the thong version of its Sliq label briefs. The brand also had Ziehe shot in more conservative side and front views wearing full coverage briefs.
Gay lifestyle magazine Out plans to run the thong version in its next issue, the newspaper reports. Details, however, passed on that cheeky view and instead is using the more conservative shots of Ziehe in its June/July issue. Men's Health was only offered the full coverage version of the stripped-down Ziehe, the newspaper said.
At least in this instance, there does not appear to be a revealing double standard at play.
