I actually still love the Rachel. It's bouncy and fun. I love layers and it wouldn't be hard to create a retro look, her classic 90's look or a modern look. :)

I'm probably older than most who have commented. The Dorothy Hamil cut and style was the only one I went with and loved it. I'm now 60 and frequently find myself doing some kind of variation of that haircut. It's easy and looks pretty darn good too.

I think if anyone had actually kept track, the Farrah and the Dorothy Hamil would have outnumbered the Jennifer by a long shot. Plus, they were actual hair cuts, not just long, straight stringy hair.

I just had my hubby cut my long, long curls...pulled all of straight up...I held it, he cut it...turned out to be a beautiful long "Rachel" cut...I love the long layers!!!

Farrah's hairsyle was the most requested of all time. She was emulated more than virtually any other celebrity. Long, straight hair with a blunt cut, shiny with body is probably the most sought after style around the globe. Women of all races, etc., like that over all else.
