Designer and celebrity stylist Patricia Field is on a fashion whirlwind.

In the midst of all the "Sex and the City 2" hype, the vivacious redhead hosted a rooftop bash at New York City's Hudson Terrace on yesterday in celebration of the sequel to showcase House of Field swimwear, eyewear, and beach towels.

Filled with zebra and leopard print bikinis, psychedelic one pieces and sunglasses, and ethereal cover ups, Field and guest designers Ivana Sert and The Blonds unleashed zany summer looks that are ideal to sun in style. And to round out the bold collections, the beauty team perfected hair and makeup that were blazing.

Rodney Cutler created a reversed fishtail braid by gathering the models' strands into a high ponytail and pinning the plait down to the top of forehead. "I wanted something that was a little out there but still clean and pretty," said the hairstylist.

Inspired by the powerful women of the '70s and '80s, makeup artist Carlo Longo created glamorous looks for the pretty young things including a sultry, smoky eye, bright orange cheeks, and statement-making lips.

GET THE LOOK - HAIR: Prep hair by spraying on Redken Align 12 Protective Straightening Lotion and then blowdry with a medium brush. Gather into a high ponytail, about three inches from the hair line and secure with an elastic holder. Add extensions for length and texture. Wrap a small piece of hair to cover the elastic and secure with a bobby pin. Flat iron hair. Create fishtail braid, bring forward towards forehead and fold braid, and pin down to scalp. Place 4-5 silver clips onto side to accessorize. Finish with Redken Vinyl Glam 02 Mega Shine Spray and Redken Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray.

GET THE LOOK - MAKEUP: Makeup by Vincent Longo. Start with a clear and even complexion. Create a basic smoky eye with black and white eyeshadows. Line lids with Duo Eye Pencil in Jet Black. Apply La Dolce Vita Lash Tips and layer with mascara. Smooth onto cheeks Water Canvas Blush. Finish with Thinstick Lipstick in London or Priscilla.
