In the midst of all the "Sex and the City 2" hype, the vivacious redhead hosted a rooftop bash at New York City's Hudson Terrace on yesterday in celebration of the sequel to showcase House of Field swimwear, eyewear, and beach towels.
Filled with zebra and leopard print bikinis, psychedelic one pieces and sunglasses, and ethereal cover ups, Field and guest designers Ivana Sert and The Blonds unleashed zany summer looks that are ideal to sun in style. And to round out the bold collections, the beauty team perfected hair and makeup that were blazing.
Rodney Cutler created a reversed fishtail braid by gathering the models' strands into a high ponytail and pinning the plait down to the top of forehead. "I wanted something that was a little out there but still clean and pretty," said the hairstylist.
Inspired by the powerful women of the '70s and '80s, makeup artist Carlo Longo created glamorous looks for the pretty young things including a sultry, smoky eye, bright orange cheeks, and statement-making lips.
