The world of drugstore makeup is about to get a big anti-aging boost.

CoverGirl has announced plans to partner with Olay Regenerist on a new face primer that joins the line of Simply Ageless foundations, concealers and blushes that feature a circular squiggle of Olay Regenerist anti-aging moisturizer cream blended in with the pigment, so that a finger-sweep will provide both a skin care treat and color pay-off.

"I did backflips when I saw that Chantecaille combined skincare with makeup when they launched Biolift Concealer, but it's priced at more than $60, which most people can't afford. So I'm beyond excited that CoverGirl is doing it for $6.99," said the brand's celebrity makeup artist, Molly Stern, who officiated the New York launch event.

The serum primer will be added to the collection in July, and provides a smooth base with an amino-peptide complex that double-tasks by hydrating and treating skin with anti-aging properties. The new buy will retail for $13.99.

We've found that the Corrector Concealer doubles as an amazing brightening eye shadow base, while the Sculpting Blush comes in such easy-to-blend universal shades that it's virtually impossible to pick a wrong color. Though Stern revealed the number one mistake women make while applying blush.

"Do you naturally blush up your cheekbones and into your hairline? I don't. Keep blush to the apples of your cheeks, and maybe even a touch on the tip of your nose. Your blush should make you feel alive and pretty," advised Stern.

New Outlast All Day Lipcolors, Lipstains and Liquiline Blast Eyeliner Pencil shades will also debut in July. The shadow sticks and liners were created by fashion week makeup artist Pat McGrath to work with and compliment one another as you mix and match.

"Eyeliner is the one product that anyone can be adventurous with," Stern said, as she blended a vibrant green shade into the inner corners of our eyes.

After a look in the mirror, we couldn't help but agree.
