"I tend to find little things at stores like Zara that I'm going to wear in the moment, and forget about, and then find again," Jovovich tells Lucky of the hidden treasures in her closet.
Inside the magazine -- which dedicates the issue to fashions under $100 -- the "Resident Evil: Afterlife" star shows off some of her other favorite affordable finds, including a $25 Forever 21 Heritage 1981 lace top, $69 Naturalizer metallic leather "Princeton" T-strap shoes, and a $95 DKNY silk cardigan. "They're what you think about when you think homey and comfortable," she says of Donna Karan's sweaters.
While the 34-year-old face of Ann Taylor is a fashion icon in her own right, she credits her style savvy to quirky '70s actress Karen Black ("I admire her mix of childlike innocence and edgy glamour") as well as a past trip to France.
"When I was in my 20s I went to Paris and found these vintage lacy tops that I would wear with jeans," she explains. "It changed the whole way I viewed casual dressing."
And it resulted in a wardrobe that any girl would envy. Not surprisingly, the mother of 2-year-old Ever, her daughter with director husband Paul W.S. Anderson, says she never throws anything away.
"Maybe," she jokes, "it's time to get a storage facility!"
Uh, we know a few women at StyleList who would be happy to hold onto some of those clothes for you.
