And if you're not Miley Cyrus, who is apparently willing to sacrifice all comfort for style, TOMS's new espadrille-style Wedges may just be the perfect balance (literally!). You'll still be able to stand up (without holding onto to a wall) -- and out -- in a crowd.
TOMS, the company known for its simple canvas or cotton slip-ons, and the fact that it matches every pair of shoes purchased with the donation of a pair of new shoes to a child in need, is stepping up its shoe options.
The chic, retro wedges come in light green, yellow, or black, and in orange, red, or navy stripes, and at just $69 a pair (TOMS.com and retailers nationwide), the pee-toe pick-me-ups are a summer must-have.
The company has given more than 600,000 pairs of new shoes to children around the world, and according to the TOMS site, other brands have been inspired by the One for One model: Ralph Lauren sells the collaborative Ralph Lauren Rugby TOMS and Element Skateboards has issued limited edition TOMS + Element shoes and a One for One skateboard. Genius!
