Who better to design a cosmetics bag than a woman who is constantly on the go?
Iconic makeup artist Pat McGrath is a fashion week fixture in backstage arenas around the world, as well as a creative consultant to CoverGirl as their official celebrity makeup artist.
In a new partnership between the cosmetic brand and retailer LeSportsac, McGrath has designed two limited edition nylon totes inspired by her favorite yellowed-tubed Lash Blast Length Mascara. And the bag's shiny black base takes a cue from McGrath's well-known perpetually all-black outfit choices at fashion week.
"It has been a great experience for me to work with both brands and combine my two passions of fashion and beauty," said McGrath in a statement.
While trendsetting collaborations aren't new to LeSportsac -- who has worked in the past with Stella McCartney and Gwen Stefani -- this will be the brand's first venture into a beauty partnership. Selling in two sizes, "The Pat" and "The Page," the zip-up bags will retail for $28 and $62 respectively, and will be available at LeSportsac boutiques and online starting this month.
And for the beauty junkies, a free tube of LashBlast Length Mascara and a coupon for more CoverGirl products as a gift with purchase will be included in every bag.
Because CoverGirl knows -- women are always in search of their next big mascara love.
