Leave it to Carrie Bradshaw to know exactly where to find a bargain in the Middle East.

In "Sex and the City 2," the Manhattan fashionista is seen haggling at an outdoor shoe stall just before bumping into former flame Aidan Shaw.

Though the movie takes place in Abu Dhabi, the scene was actually filmed at a souk in Marrakech, Morocco. And with the help of StyleList, you can follow in Carrie's Manolos.

Carrie's Aidan encounter was shot just outside La Croix d'Agadez (No. 6/7, Kissariat Mouassine, off Rue Mouassine), a boutique (shown below) located in the Medina (ancient city).

Owned by Aziz Hasan, the little shop is packed with handicrafts made by the Tuareg tribe of the Sahara.

Among the gorgeous gems (left) in store: silver necklaces, bracelets, and earrings set with amber, turquoise, and coral; colorful woven belts; and handmade babouche slippers.

"SATC" included a scene of Carrie browsing the jewelry, Hasan tells StyleList, but -- welcome to Hollywood! -- only the shoe-shopping scene made the final cut.

Directly next door is the Dar Justo hotel (35, Derb Chorfa Lakbir Mouassine). Pop in and linger in the courtyard, where the cast got into hair and makeup in a room just off the pool and also relaxed between scenes.

If you really want to get Carrie-d away, however, head over to the ultra-glam La Mamounia hotel (Avenue Bab Jdid), where Sarah Jessica Parker stayed during filming.

The ground floor is loaded with luxury shops -- including Gucci, Prada, Chanel, and Christian Dior -- where you can definitely do some damage (or at least some window shopping).

While you may not have a wealthy sheik financing your trip à la Samantha, that doesn't mean you can't travel in style.

Intrepid Travel offers a four-day Marrakech City Break package ($425 twin; $685 single) that includes accommodation, transport, a visit to shopping mecca Djemaa el-Fna, a cooking class, an Arabic lesson, and -- most important -- plenty of free time to explore those souks!
