Dressed in a skintight black leather dress from Elie Saab's Fall 2010 collection (and sans wedding ring), the 45-year-old actress, and new mother to adorable baby Louis, accepted the Troops Choice Award for Entertainer of the Year while surrounded by some of the members of the military who voted for her and simultaneously receiving a standing ovation from the audience.
"Let's be honest here, just for a moment. We're all going to be honest, right? Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or did I win this because of the spectacular I.E.D. [improvised explosion device] explosion that became my personal life?" Bullock joked while clutching her antler-shaped trophy.
"I would do it over again if it was to entertain our troops. And our extraordinary troops deserve something much more than some actress in a tight dress talking about herself," Bullock continued before thanking all of the men and women in the military for their service to the country.
The Spike TV Guys Choice Awards, which will be televised on June 20, isn't the only chance Bullock fans will get to see the gracious box office beauty post-scandal. Tonight, Bullock will hit the red carpet and stage at the live MTV Movie Awards to accept the MTV Generation Award, which will mark the first time a female has taken home the honor.
