Lara Stone is New Calvin Klein Ad Campaign Star

Guess David Walliams isn't the only fella Lara Stone is saying "I do" to.

The stunning supermodel - who has fought criticism that she's a "larger model" at a size 4 - has just signed an exclusive deal that will have her fronting the fall campaigns for Calvin Klein, ck Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein Jeans, the company has announced.

Voila! The fashion equivalent of a hat trick.

Shot by acclaimed fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the gap-toothed beauty rocks austere black garments and a slicked-back coif for the moody black and white Calvin Klein Collection ads.

The ck Calvin Klein images, meanwhile, cast a vampy, red dress-clad Stone and models -- including Abbey Lee Kershaw -- in an edgy, film noir-inspired setting.

And you can kiss those borderline-porn Eva Mendes denim ads goodbye.

Stone's Calvin Klein Jeans X campaign features the model wearing her locks long and loose while striking a sultry (but still PG-13) pose.

While no doubt a major coup for the catwalker, the acquisition of the size 4 Stone also supports designer Francisco Costa's rumored commitment to stop using underweight size zero models, as we previously reported. Way to stick to those guns.

WHAT A JOKE! A size 4 is far from curvy. Once I read what her size was I was done with the article. Weight = curvy. Being built like a little boy is not. I'm disgusted with this countries obsession with extremely skinny women. Only dogs like bones.

Size 4 is to SKINNY unless you are fortunate to be born this way. Curvy is a size 8-10. When I see these ads with these stick people I just turn the page because in reality most women are a 6 to 10. I say this because when I go shopping for jeans they never have any 8's or 10's but plenty of 6's or smaller or just the oppisite 12's or larger. This brings me to believe the masses are in the 8 to 10 range and that also goes for shirts as well. Designers need a reality check on how many people only give their advertising a quick glance with these stick models.

4 is curvy? huh?
It is no wonder our pre-teens, teens, young adults and women in general have issues with their weight, if a size 4 is considered "curvy" anything beyond a size 4 is what? Give me a break "curvy" is like the ad for victoria's secret that was made a big todo over.

In other pictures, she actually does look as though she has a figure....small, to be sure, but at least she does not look as though she is ready to keel over.
High fashion models were never supposed to be examples for how "real women" should look; they were moving hangers for the designer's clothes. The problem is, we now think they are beauty icons, as well.
"Curvy" used to mean someone like Marilyn Monroe, who had hips, a bust and a waist. She was NOT fat at all...sizes were different then. Today she would have been a four or a six. Curvy should not mean fat.
We have become so obsessed with being super-skinny that there is no longer a happy medium. Women are either skinny or fat. I went to the mall yesterday (something I rarely do) and I was startled to see that most of the people were terribly overweight, with a few very skinny ones mixed in. Women who cannot achieve super-skinny often just give up and get fat. I am a six and there were very few women around me who were in that four to ten or twelve range. Work out, eat right and be healthy. Quit thinking about fashion.

I don't know where you were, but at my high school overweight teens are not very prevalent. I feel like I am the largest girl in any of my classes and I am a size eight. I really don't care anymore what my size is, I just try to eat as healthy as I can and get as much exercise as I can. Most kids are thin and there are a few overweight people. I can think of about 11 teens in my graduating class (257) that are fat.

I can honestly say that Laura Stone looks like a man in the top picture. Most of the women I've gone out with in my life usually weigh around 120 lbs. and they don't look like the skeleton above. Even I took more Levitra than recommended, it would not rise to the occasion. I also know a woman who weighs 135 lbs. and is about 5'8" and looks a whole lot better than "Bones" Stone. Maybe they're appealing to the 10-year old girls who could probably fit into one of Boney's outfits. What a turnoff!

Newsflash!!!!

Sizes 8-14 are considered average. NOT size 4.
The fashion designers are all trying to epitomize the 12 year old BOY look that they all love so much!

She's simply slender with larger than normal breast implants. The average American woman wears a size 14 - 16, is clinically overweight verging on clinically obese. The
extremes seem to rule.

Wow, that article sure pissed off all the fat woman out there...What do the guys think? C'mon I know you looked. You angry folks might want to try some pushing exercises for your figures-ya know, the ones where you push your big ol' selves away from the table occasionally? Perhaps then you wouldn't display such hostility towards a woman who exhibits a little self control...

Are you serious....Do you seriously think that a size four is curvy..The idea that CK is doing something out there by signing a size four that is still breathing on her own instead of a near death morbidly underweght girl is somehow a good thing. One can expect models to be thin sure but come on. When you announce that you signed a curvy girl let's at least have you pretend she is curvy and be a 10...This is not curvy in the real world as you think all the fat chicks are pissed of but at least in the fashion world it would be a step towards legitimacy.

if you people check the link you clicked on to get here-the word curvy is in quotation marks indicating a false meaning or sarcasm. I agree she is too skinny as well, I just thought the anger at it was even funnier. Sorry gals, just instigating a little.
