What's one of the best ways to flatter a long, round face? Lots of layers and volume!
Meet today's hair-stumped client, Jean -- a former redhead gone blonde with thick, wavy locks that she admits is overwhelming. "I don't know what to embrace in my hair anymore," she says about her color and style.
The first step is to bring Jean's hair back to its natural red color which will make her hazel eyes pop and give her whole face a lift, according to celebrity hairstylist Andy Lecompte.
Lecompte adds long layers to Jean's hair and some shorter fringes around the cheeks to de-emphasize the length of her face. And after drying her hair with a round brush, he adds loose, bouncy curls with a wide curling iron and large rollers to create tons of movement.
"I feel sassy!" says Jean about her new hairstyle that now complements her round face shape, natural coloring and thick, wavy hair.
