Over the weekend, nearly 200 artists performed at the four-day Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. Held on a 700-acre farm, the annual conglomeration of musicians, comedians, and cultural trendsetters is a yearly draw on the summer music festival circuit.

This year's headliners included Dave Matthews Band, (the omnipresent) Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, plus scores of indie favorites such as The Postelles, She & Him, and The National.

Photographer Meredith Jenks caught up with a handful of festival-goers who were dressed for the varied scene and oppressive humidity in short shorts, pretty floral frocks, combat boots, and oh-so-necessary oversized shades.

Next stop, Lollapalooza!
