At the 2010 Tony Awards, there was a spirited mix of personalities, which naturally leads to an interesting mix of ensembles.

Catherine Zeta-Jones went for an icy blue strapless Versace gown (and matching powder blue eye shadow). She wore a 75 carat diamond cuff, rock crystal and diamond earrings, and a matching diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz.

Scarlett Johansson also went floor-length, minus the jewels. Her deep green plunge-front Elie Saab gown was apparently dramatic enough.

And who could forget Paula Abdul, who came in a nude off-shoulder gown with mermaid bottom. The petite star knows how to show off her curves.

Cate Blanchett chose a silver Armani Prive tuxedo for the event, leading to many raised eyebrows. Though the look didn't need much more fanfare to stand out, Blanchett added a 5-carat emerald-cut diamond ring by Van Cleef & Arpels, as well as the brand's Zip Pompon necklace featuring over 450 diamonds and a working zipper.

"Glee" darling Lea Michele went for a citrus-colored Zac Posen gown with a sweetheart neckline. While the unusual color seemed to work for the star, her posture did not. Michele may have watched a little too much "America's Next Top Model" judging by her version of the hand-on-hip-concave-chest pose. Shoulders back, dear!

Melanie Griffith made an appearance in all black, sporting her signature updo. While her look wasn't too memorable for us, it was a safe, flattering option.

Lucy Liu wore a blush pink gown with a huge flower embellishment and equally romantic jewels from Stephen Russel: Platinum diamond and pink opal drop earrings, and a vintage heart-shaped diamond and platinum ring.

Katie Holmes went strapless in a gray Armani Privé gown, while Naomi Watts gave us the bold shoulder in an RM by Roland Mouret dusty pink and black gown.

Aside from the usual suspects on the red carpet, there were more megastars inside at the show. Beyoncé wore an indigo draped off-shoulder Catherine Malandrino dress and over 175 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds.

Was hubby Jay-Z jealous of all that bling? (He played it low key in a tux). The first duo of hip hop mingled with fellow power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett (in a ruffled mini).

We can't get enough of these happy, stylish couples -- let's pray they never get caught up in any cheating scandals!
