Three outfits in one night? LOL. A pretty clear sign you are too self-absorbed or have way too much money.

No performer wears the performance outfit to the event. First of all, it kind of spoils the surprise. Second, have you ever heard of SWEAT? Don't think she want's to wear that to the after-party, ick. And the red-carpet outfit is for the benefit of the photogs who feed the public's need for glamour shots, and to show the prominence of her appeareance--the charity. Short dress for the after-party, of course. Get a life people. It's all practicality.

Boy you can tell this article was written by a man. To me this makes perfect sense, I don't see the fuss. All three activities were COMPLETELY different sort of events. ALL female stars of any sort (except at the grammies) make their walk down the red in something formal, almost always in a long gown. This was NOT appropriate for her in which to perform on stage. On the stage she was not standing up beside a grand piano singing a sad love song like you would have seen on Lawrence Welk, her perfomances are much more sexy and active than this, hence the change to a sexier outfit. A long gown just wouldn't cut it for the performance. Then, after the gala she's off to a more casual type party. Neither of the two previous dresses would have been correct or comfortable. Everything she did in the evening makes perfect sense to me. But men, they haven't a clue as to what we women go through to look beautiful and create the correct atmostphere and image and look. The writer of this article probably would have thrown on a pair of old jeans and shirt and run all over town for 3 days dressed in the same thing. So men, this is why when you ask a lady out on a date you ALWAYS tell her where you are going, what you will be doing or at least what sort of places she will be. There is very little more tragic for a woman than to arrive somewhere and be either obviously overdressed or underdressed. Most men probably don't even realize what I mean by that, but I know all you women out there know. It's like arriving at a backyard picnic wearing a cocktail dress or vice versa. You don't go to a 5-star restaurant in crop pants and flip flops, OR the White House (remember that fiasco about 5 years ago?). Women who want to be considered stylish, classy and tasteful ALWAYS try to dress appropriate for the ocassion. It's just as bad to be overdressed as it is to be underdressed for a function. This is how Agatha Christie's character Miss Marple solved a mystery in one of her stories. She knew the body wasn't who the suspect said it was because the low-class girl had thrown on her best frock at an inapprorpiate time. In closing, I think Ms. Lopez was dressed very appropriately for all three events. Whether I care for the dresses however is a different story, but each women has their own taste in clothes. These were her style and she looked fine in them. So Mark, before you make a big hooha about a women's dressing habits, find out what you're talking about first. Talk to a woman!
