We knew we shouldn't have listened to our high school guidance counselor!

Now, here we are writing about the fancy new Bungalow 8 staff uniforms designed by Preen when we could be wearing them (sob!).

That's right -- the British label's loved-up duo Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi are giving the London hotspot a sexy runway makeover, Vogue UK reports.

"They're based on a cocktail dress and have thick straps, one is in lace, and then the skirt is drapey so there's movement to it," Thornton tells the source.

The designers tell Vogue UK that the St Martins Lane Hotel, which houses the UK branch of Amy Sacco's ultra-exclusive nightclub, approached them about revamping the uniforms.

"They really liked what we did and asked if we'd be interested to do the uniforms for the girls," adds Thornton.

"We met with them and talked about the practicalities that they need.

"We love the challenge. To challenge yourself, it keeps it fresh."

Hmmm -- we might just have to challenge ourselves to pop on over and fill out a job application.

The Preen team -- parents to a little girl -- are also reportedly interested in designing a children's collection. Cross your fingers, kids!

Meanwhile, we might pass on American Apparel's "style"-based hiring policy.
