Last month, Kerr, 27, was spotted wearing a sparkler that looked uncannily like an engagement ring, but neither party's rep would comment. Now, however, Bloom's publicist tells ET Online that the duo are indeed getting hitched.
The 33-year-old actor first began dating the sexy supermodel back in 2007, and by the following year, he flew to Australia to meet her parents, reports the Daily Mail.
"Miranda and I spend so much time apart; she's working hard, I'm working hard, so we have to grab time together whenever we can. A weekend here, a weekend there. We are just enjoying our time together now," Bloom, who previously dated actress Kate Bosworth, has said.
Rumors of an engagement began as far back as November 2008 and popped up again six months later when Kerr was spotted wearing a dazzler on her left ring finger, People reports.
The whispers started up again earlier this year, but Kerr was quick to shoot them down, telling Britain's Hello! magazine, "I think Orlando is an incredible man and he's a very genuine and authentic individual. I'm grateful that he's in my life. No, we're not engaged. You can't always believe everything you read!"
Now, however, the pair aren't hiding their joy, though they have yet to reveal details about a wedding date, the proposal, and the engagement ring. StyleList assumes, however, that the "Pirates of the Caribbean" hunk didn't give Kerr a black pearl.
